The Falcons were really high on him in preseason and a lot of their fans thought he was going to make the final roster.

This is Hurney's 3rd LB signed to a futures deal. He knows he's losing Jacobs, Mayo, and Jared Norris in free agency.

Good luck to him, hope he really shines out here. Still, it is a practice squad guy -- maybe he has seasoned up nicely, maybe he's not roster material. We should know by the end of summer, but the guy is getting a chance and that's all the right ones need.
