Bleacher Report says what we all know. If we trade Kemba, we would be the worst team in the NBA.

That's the problem with your logic. We were bad for over 4-5 years in the tanking process. While it didn't work because the dip poo we had picked MKG over Bradley Beal, it still should be what we should be doing. The team is the worst in the NBA without Kemba. We would literally be right there with the Cavs, if we got rid of him, and therefore we would get either Zion, Barrett, Nasir Little, or Cam Reddish, or Murray. Which at this point, is better than sitting on our asses hoping some dumb ass team takes Batum, Marvin, or Biyombo's awful contracts. Complacency is the worst thing a franchise can do.

Lastly, getting rid of Kemba would not make any player not want to come here. Kemba was average as Hell and we offered Gordon Hayward the max, and he accepted it. So, I don't hear that excuse

The franchise was on the brink then, that's why they sold it to MJ for an embarrassingly low pricing. Quite frankly if it weren't for the rebrand buying them some good will from fans until Kemba became great they may have left already. Bobcats attendance and reputation was abysmal.

Hayward was considering us because we were just another small market he could shine in like fuggin Utah. Letting your franchise all-time best go sends a message that even if you ball out you get no loyalty in Charlotte.

Yeah, because loyalty has done so much for other teams. You Draft a Zion, Barrett, or a player that will be better than Kemba, you will get other players to come play with you. Common sense really.

This

I heard a good point yesterday.

They talked how everyone cried when we let Steve Smith go.  But fans didnt jump and pout in 2015 as we went to the Superbowl.

They mentioned Kemba is great but your Loyalty is great to the team than the player.

The big example they brought up.

They mentioned all the people who said they would never watch another game yada yada if we traded Kemba.

What if we traded Kemba last year and packaged the 1st and had Luka Doncic right now?

Would the stands be empty?

Would there be no buzz?

Would the stands be empty? Absolutely.

Would there be no buzz? None whatsoever. Doncic would be averaging 6 ppg and playing about 12 mpg in front of 5,000 fans.
