Ring of Honor expanding

Peppers is a first ballot HOFer and we're not sure he should be on the Panthers ring of honor? This guy was a league MVP candidate as defensive player during his first stint here. Considered the best defensive player in the NFL a few seasons. And this was back when you could actually play defense. He's first in my opinion, then Smitty, then Gross. Love TD, but not sure if he should be ROH.

Agree with this 100%

good post. Making the huddle better.

Played almost half his productive career elsewhere.

Left the Panthers franchise in his prime.

Served a 4-game steroid violation suspension.  Rumored to have continued to be a user.

His talent is without question but that ledger is stained to the point of DQ'ing him from ROH consideration, IMO.

Will be interesting to see how the sports writers treat him when his time comes to be considered for HOF, I don't think he will get in on the 1st ballot....if at all.  Only time will tell.

Thankfully, people like you have nothing to do with who gets in the HOF. This entire post is a terrible take. You are not improving the huddle.

You might not like the "take"...

...but we'll see who is right.

I have yet to see anyone produce any evidence of any NFL player with a steroid suspension on their record, AND, was a 1st ballot Hall of Fame inductee.  In fact, I'm not aware of ANY player in the NFL Hall of Fame who served a suspension for steroids.

Are you?

We shall see.

Brings an interesting point to mind...assuming they are even considering him for ROH --- do Panthers wait to see what HOF voters do first?

Please link confirming Julius Peppers’ suspension was due to steroids. Back your poo up. Don’t bring the huddle down.

PED58 didn't do it either...

...it's always a "supplement"...LOL.

If true, they would simply publish the medical test results and remove the steroid stain from their ledger --- there's a reason they don't.

I know you don't like the message but you should reconcile yourself with the fact that this is exactly how those with Hall of Fame votes think.

So you don’t have any proof Peppers was suspended for steroids. You are speculating. Bringing the huddle down. You also have ZERO idea how HOF voters think or how they vote. Dudes can fail a drug test for taking stuff OTC for a cold.

What do you think he was suspended for?

A banned substance. Could be literally a ton of different things. I can’t believe you are whining about something that happened in 2002. Did Peppers not tip you or something when you washed his car at autobell?
