Realistic 2nd  or 3rd round Pass Rushering 43 DE targets are

 

 

 

 

Of course this is before the combine and private workouts..

But my favorites right now are Oshane and Ferguson.. Both look explosive and might have a little wow factor in their game..

Least favorite are Byrant and Granderson.. Who both look like stiff giants with just a bull rush move..

Jackson looks like a prototype.. If I designed a DE on madden it would look like Jackson.. But his motor is a question and why wasn't he more dominant..

Jelks looks like Jason Taylor skinny as hell.. But 1 thing that intrigues me about him.. Is the fact Oregon lines him up everywhere.. He rushed from the outside and lined up inside alot.. Which for his frame is shocking.. He must have some strength in that skinny body to line up at DT as much as he did..

At this point I’d rather us throw 15 million at one of the young top tier DE FAs to open up our options in the draft.  We desperately need an impact player now at that position.

Espn got him 6'5 258lb

Of course this is before the combine but that's not bad for a underclassman going into the draft..

 

 

Look at this dude athletic build thick base.. A body frame that can add bulk without getting fat.. He looks almost statuesque..

At this point we need to do both.. We need a immediate impact player and a young prospect because we let this position get old quickly.. We need atleast 2 maybe 3 DE's brought in..

Our depth chart looks like this right now Addison, Efe, and Cox..smh

If we draft an OT in the first I hope that means we signed a quality DE in free agency.

Not to harp on the New Orleans win but 16 and 47 just doesn't seem to line up as well as 9 and 40.

At 16, chances are the top tier(Bosa, Gary, Ferrell) are gone and it might be a little early for the next tier (Sweat, Allen Ferguson, Burns).  Then at 47 there is a good chance those guys are gone.  I would feel a lot better at 40 for my chances of getting one of those guys.

I could see us not going DE in the first 3 rounds.  Sign a free agent, Peppers comes back for one more year.  Draft an OT or CB in the first, DT in the second, Center and/or guard in the third.  Maybe there is a lot better prospect at a different position on your board when your second #rd comes around.  Before you know it you are to your 4th round picks and at that point I'm not counting on any players at DE in the short term.

We’d have to make a few cuts (Kalil, Captain) and restructure a couple deals.  Kalil’s money won’t be available until post June 1, but that money can be used for draft picks.

The few games I watch of Clemson this year, I’m not convinced Austin Bryant is gonna be any better than Wes Horton. Obviously, no way to predict how college players effdftivenes will transfer to NFL. But, it seemed like he was JAG. Nothing really stood out to me. Feel like he is a project on having tremendous talent surrounding him

I can agree with that. Draft a DE and bring one in.

I hope I'm wrong, but I think a lot of us are gonna be cussing and throwing things on draft day when the #9 pick is on the clock and one of the top pass rushers in the draft is still there.

I liked what I saw of the first two. Ximines looks a little smallish but great motor and and I liked the fire I saw in him. I’d probably choose Ferguson myself. Hell take two of them in the 2nd and 3rd imo
