Meh, tepid hire. Experienced yes but that's about it. Any word on why we felt we had to get rid of the last guy to hire this guy? Could be solid but seems like just shuffling the deck?

Most players have no interest in being a coach. They would make half of what they made as a player, have to start at the bottom and work twice the number of hours.

not sure what everyone was expecting. some star former OC or head coach? torrey smith credits his early tutelage to this guy and we have two young receivers that could benefit immensely.

torrey holds sway with this coaching staff and i'd be willing to bet he was a factor in the hire from a referential standpoint.

But given that Norv also brought Scott along to the last few places he coached, I'd say it's reasonable.
