Many would like to think/hope, it is not....and the visceral reaction to  Newton's tweet refelects as such -- but, in the light of morning they will be forced to deal with the reality of the situation __ Cam very well may not pay in another NFL regular season game until September of 2020, 18 months from now.

I hope he doesn't have to.. But Cam sitting out would be a huge eye opener for some folks about how truly inept this team would be if not for him.
