2010 Starting QB

Depends.. I think we could get a solid QB in the second round. Tony Pike , Jake Locker , Bill Stull.. Hell id personally want Case Keenum from Houston. This draft will be QB heavy thats for sure.

I agree with this.

This is an incredibly deep draft.

Keep in mind that finishing poorly and losing our first round draft pick does suck, but it means that our 2nd rounder is practically a 1st round pick anyway.

Add to this that the majority of teams are not going to be looking for QBs, and we should have a nice selection in the 2nd round, if we go that way.

a lot of you probably don't remember this but the consensus of half the board was that chris leak was a top ten pick and that the panthers made a colossal mistake for drafting jon beason instead.

leak then went undrafted and every selection we used on someone other than him was a colossal mistake the team would never recover from

that's kind of understandable

chris leak was never going to be drafted. he was too small (JUST LIKE FLUTIE!), from a terrible system (JUST LIKE DREW BREES!), from a school that doesn't produce NFL quarterbacks (JUST LIKE TOM BRADY!), and never in his life had a chance of being drafted into the nfl.

everyone just ignored that glaring problem because he was from charlotte.

Tom Brady came from Michigan... while it's no QB factory, it certainly produces NFL players...

Anyway, I agree about Leak. This draft is much deeper, QB wise, and I think that many clubs won't have a pressing need for QBs so we may get a chance at a good one.

I don't think I posted much when people were begging for Chris Leak, so I don't remember, but I don't advocate for the Leak/Pryer type QB's. Pocket Passes with good mobility work the best. By the way, I saw last weeks Central Michigan game, and Dan Lefevour did look great. I do however like Ponder better.

Seattle

St. Louis

San Fran

Washington

Cleveland

Jacksonville

Oakland

that's a conservative estimate. all of them pick in the first round. st louis, cleveland, and oakland will pick before the panthers in the second.
