Smart guy, not given into knee-jerk reactions or trying to simplify something that is complex and nuanced. It will be fascinating to see how it turns out. However it turns out, I believe that he'll ultimately get us to the mountaintop.

Agreed.

Talking about winning is one thing. Richardson did that too. Everybody wants to win, but some don't really know how.

Yea I do like that he just flat out said what we all knew about how Cam couldn't throw down the field because of his shoulder injury and how Ron made defensive changes too late. Never heard JR say poo like that or about the locker room.

Think he doesn't want to overreact his first year and regret it down the road.  Head coach I can understand the options out there weren't that great. GM well Marty doe draft well. As long he isnt reaching and trading away picks.

I actually enjoyed that interview. Look, it’s his team, and while I don’t agree AT ALL with his assessment about Hurney, I can’t find fault with anything else he said.

Plus, he praised John Matsko. I got to spend time with him after the Tampa game in November. He’s a superb guy. Moreover, he’s worked some minor miracles over the past two years. Glad to see he got the owner’s endorsement.

I still think ownership was the biggest obstacle in this team building a consistent winner. There's a lot of Ron and Hurney hate here but the most boneheaded and obstinant decisions were due to JR guidelines.

Tepper wants to prove you numbnuts wrong. He's a smart guy, not worried. He's going to give them everything he can to succeed even if it's Eric Reid. Practice facility, new HQ. You business rookies need to watch a pro at work. He's not going to to tear the Bentley apart just to see how it works.
