Really don't want that poo, but as a consolation prize it would probably be Brees' last game

You pose an interesting question - would you accept the Saints winning the SB this year if in return Brees retired right after?  For me it's a "hell no", but wonder what others think.

I was in South Beach 2 years ago when the Falcons were beating the Pats. I was at this private party at a fancy hotel. I had given into the fact that the Falcons were gonna win a SB, leaving the Panthers (who were 15-1 the season before), as the last team in the NFCS without a ring.

I actually left the party and went to my hotel room. I didn’t turn the rest of the game on until close to the end of the 4th, and watched one of, if not the greatest comeback in sports history.

Dont get down on yourselves about the Saints. There is still a lot of football left. There is also still the opportunity for them to get embarrassed or something shocking to happen like Cam Jordan breaking his fucking leg.

Definitely not.  Saints haven't been able to get to or perform in the playoffs, so odds are if they don't win it next year, they won't the rest of Brees' tenure.  I don't think they can beat the Rams AND the Chiefs.  Probably not even the Rams

Saints are different this year unfortunately. They have as many weapons as the Rams and Chiefs and with a top 10 QB. Only way to beat them is disrupt the Middle of the Oline. Pats proved today if they meet the Saints they can do that. Everyone else idk.

You don’t think Donald and Suh can disrupt the middle of the O line? WTF!

It does NOT matter if Brees retires. His stats in last 5 games - 5 TD 4 Int QBR of 60ish.

Let Saints play him next season, I am totally ok with that.

That from stretch of bad back to back to back road games. He has been good at home even at the end incl yesterday. And how about the previous 3/4ths of the season playing at MVP levels? Still dangerous even though he's old and balding.
