So Horton in 2017 had a much better sack rate than Okwara last year. That’s all @t96 is trying to say. You can’t just look at 7.5 sacks in a vacuum since Horton clearly didn’t improve on 2017.

Depends on point of view.. 

Horton was 27 in 2017 this kid is 23. 

I like the fact this kid got his sacks while playing the majority of the snaps on his team.. Instead of getting sacks in a situational role.  That also means the team trusted him playing the run and in other situations.. Instead of like Horton in 2017 he had a specialized role..

So thank you for making me like this player more..

Yes that's right.. I like the facts his sacks came in the flow of the game while playing a constant role and not as a specialist .. That actually makes him better than Horton..

No.. I think alot of his sacks in 2017 came from him just being the fresh guy on the field.. While this kid seem like he play alot of starter minutes and he got his sacks while being on the field in any situation... 

And While I don't care PFF thinks..

I generally expect Addison and Peppers to be ranked higher than a young player getting his 1st stint starting...

Again I said "Maybe"... Don't have a cow because this kid could be a option..

I wonder how many people in this thread of have actually watched this guy.

Also sacks can be a really poor indicator of how well he is playing on a snap by snap basis.  A lot of times a sack can the product of someone else doing their job well (pressure).

Don't get me wrong, these are the type of guys that you have to look for, you can't expect to sign a big name free agent at every position.  You just can't judge him based on of one stat.
