Yep.

CJ signed a one year deal. He wouldn't be here next year anyway. I'd like for us to find a rb to spell McCaffrey.

Sounds great in theory but the OC won’t use em unless CMC goes down...it didn’t happen and next year will be the same.  Obviously.

We overcooked the McCaffery dish. He performed exceptionally well, and I love his toughness. But it was an ineffective strategy. It limited the entire offense just enough to potentially cost them a couple of those close games.

We weren't winning anything with our terrible defense. I know your brain is too old to comprehend that.

So naturally, the best thing to do is to cut a good running back and reduce the offensive roster depth.

Okay

I said before that you probably weren't as dumb as the idiotic things you were posting. I apologize. It looks like I was wrong.

i may be expecting too much from the morons on our coaching staff but i'm certainly not expecting too much from a competent, professional staff.

Sadly that’s the problem and we get to see the same damn thing next season.  My confidence level that this will change is zero.

Wow....look how fast the rams got situated to spike the ball.

SO IT IS POSSIBLE.

Things like that and bad clock management matter exponentially more than whether we needed CJ Anderson when CMC was having the year he had.

Ron has had issues, but whether or not we kept CJ is meaningless given everything else

Where did I say it was a good thing to cut him? I am saying that leaving him on the team wouldn't change a thing.

Do you honestly think we'd be in the playoffs with him on the team?

We'd have had some options that we didn't have after letting him go.

What I can't say for certain is whether our coaching staff would have used them. They were already being dumbasses in that regard.

Add to that the absolute unbridled ignorance of Rivera saying that next year they needed to find a complementary back for McCaffrey and it's like watching a bad sitcom.
