KK had 7.5 sacks 2 FF 7 TFL

It was my bad, site I looked at had his stats inverted and I didn't notice.

Short is paid like an elite DT but he isn't playing like one. Our DL relies on him to be a disruptive force. He's the big money stud. A big part of our DL's underperformance this year was because our stud was a dud.

He didnt this year

He did in 2015 playing better than Cox

And last year

And getting paid less.

Over the last 4 years only about Donald has performed better.  And the dude has 1 bad year this year and people are ready to run him off around here.

I love TD and he can still play and hit like a beast but he can't really cover any more. IMO. And it won't get better as he ages which happens fast when these guys start fading. If he does get a gig he might start fast but it's a long season.

 

Wish we could have had a better year for him. One of best ever and a very inspiring person. Really going to miss him.

Not a fan of this on the surface.  TD very well may lose it all and drop off a cliff next season, but he could still play this year. Not to mention, he'd be cheap.  I get wanting to give Shaq a chance, but if Shaq were ever going to be close to TD's level, I feel like he would've shown that by now.  Not to mention, Shaq's not going to be worth the contract he signs, or at least the 9 million number for his 5th year option. 

Like a lot of things around this team right now.  Meh. It is what it is.  This is a missed opportunity. And whatever other BS sayings that promote mediocrity that can be trotted out.  For a team that honestly has a lot to be excited about personnel wise...the last couple of months have drained me from caring that much.

I can’t really judge this move without more information.  TD was still very good last year. Need to see what he eventually signs for and what we do with that money and who replaces him. 

On the surface it feels stupid, especially so early.
