We should just move on from him.  He is all “me”

Also, if Luke was walking around making an arse outta himself like this I’d want him gone too.

Yeah and I gotta think some of the vets were getting tired of his sh*t like Luke and TD, but smart enough to not cause dysfunction because of it

It's so weird that everybody wants to make Reid a race issue.  I don't see colors, I see football players.  I see what they contribute and what they take away.

Politics in Sports are an ugly mix.  I watch Sports to get away from the seriousness of the world and enjoy the competitiveness and camaraderie on the football field.  Reid wants to make my source of entertainment his soapbox.  This doesn't mean I'm a bigot or think he needs to shut up.  Only that he should find other avenues to voice his opinion.  People see a camera and some crave attention to a point where it's an extreme.  The fact that Reid has received more attention this year than our star players like Cam and Luke shows you the agenda that is being pushed down the throat of every fan watching.  It's poor taste and it's basically a giant advertisement over the football game.  Call me a nerd or a loser for liking football so much, but that is seriously why I watch the Panthers.  Why should I accept it when some guy tries to make the Sport I watch and enjoy about him?  What if Reid was a gay man and he was speaking out for Gay rights?  And, every week he was talking about gay rights.  I would feel the same way.

I like politics in my sources of entertainment.

Sports can be another avenue to raise awareness to an issue. There are some things that are more important than sports.

Yeah, well some people talk the talk and others walk the walk.  Sitting on your couch and letting the TV raise your children and control your thoughts is for the uneducated.  If I want to find out about issues, I go out on the streets.  I talk to real people living through struggles, not listening to some rich football player.

And, this isn't against black rights.  As, I said your logic could be applied to any issue.  I'm sure there is something that you would not want to see or have your children see if it was against your values.

“A fish won't do anything, but swim in a brook
He can't write his name or read a book
To fool the people is his only thought
And though he's slippery, he still gets caught
But then if that sort of life is what you wish
You may grow up to be a fish

And all the monkeys aren't in the zoo
Every day you meet quite a few
So you see it's all up to you
You can be better than you are
You could be swingin' on a star”
