Tampa Bay hires Bruce Arians as head coach

Bruce Arians is now head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

 

This improves the Bucs tremendously. No way around it. Arians is a solid coach with a lot of young talent on that team.

 

Not great news for the Panthers, when lately have struggled with the Bucs under a bad head coach.

I dont see us winning a single division game next season tbh. Smallbrains will tell you that Ron "owns Arians" but fail to account for the fact that the panthers matched up very well against those cardinal teams who had a mediocre linebacker core. They are in for a shock

Also @Sean Payton's Vicodin I didn’t mean that to suggest I think we are in position to be competitive against the Bucs. Was moreso curious about how many of those losses fell on Cam vs DA.

I recall DA completely blowing one game throwing a pick at the goal line.

I agree that as it stands we likely are the worst team in our division.

2, because ron played cam at the end of the failed 2016 season and ruined his throwing arm in the process

You use three years because that is the only thing that is relevant. What happened in 2015 with a roster and coaching stafd that was 80% different means nothing now. It's a what have you done for me lately league for a reason.

Bottom line is there is little doubt that Tampa Bay improves with this news. Arians is a good coach, something the Bucs haven't had since Tony Dungy.
