If Cam plays with an arm that hasn't properly healed or if some obscure backup plays in his place, chances are the results will be about the same, Panthers post another losing season in 2019.

Ron didn't roll over for a meaningless game in NO, so there is no reason to believe he's going to tank an entire season.

If anything, Ron is preparing to give his best performance as the Panthers Head Coach in 2019.

Rivera always seems to coach his best when he's on the hot seat.

Yeah it's ultra frustration to see ron coach great one season and then completely regress to his old self.. I don't get it.

I called that over a month ago.  Lame Duck coach and GM...  When coach or GM get a genuine chance, they get 1 year contract extension.  We are tanking 2019.  Lame Duck coaches never do well.

You can be assured, however, that no Carolina player's health will be spared in the pursuit of Ron Rivera getting the contract extension he desires.

God help those boys.

Anyone from this division could finish last or win. Saints were 7-9 for years straight, Brees has to fall off at some point. Falcons fired everyone but got a giant upgrade at OC and will be getting back 2 great players. Bucs finally have a DL and a top ten pick.  Panthers avoided all those big changes and may get a healthy Newton back.

Tepper just made a 2+ billion dollar acquisition. Worth over $2 Billion with the current head coach and GM. That's not a short-term investment. He has a 1 year up close sample. Would be extremely shortsighted to start from scratch without giving them a real go, especially with the start the team got off to before Cam's arm fell off.

Think of it as Ron was in year 1 for Tepper and go from there.

lots of people in denial in this thread but many others see the writing on the wall. much like many assumed the organization would change, and it didn't, b/c it never fuging does.

Okay we got your opinion now what??

What is the goal for you??

Do you think your opinion is going to force others not to watch the team next year if you repeat it enough??

Are you going to win the "I told you" award and get crowned king of the internet??

I'm just trying to understand are you going to spend all offseason telling us how much we will suck or is this your final post until it happens??

At some point it has to be a waste of your time (if you have a life) saying the same stuff after making your prediction..

You kind of blew your load early right??

Where do you go from here without looking pathetic??

The division was already trending in the positive direction and this afternoon solidifies that. And here we are. With hurney. And Ron. No DC in sight. No changes after a failed campaign. Got a feeling tepper is following that hurricanes model. And no hiring wilks doesn't fix poo. We are fuged. Tank mode.

What’s the point of this post? Trying to get banned?

    • For the silly people that worship her it will be that.  The Coleman 'legend' thing, they did that with another fairly average player that was here and I sort of mocked or questioned the 'legend' status. Instantly caught crap for insulting someone's favorite Panther. So okay, Kurt Coleman is a Legend.
    • You allow him to compete--you all are talking as if I am proposing making him the starter. Give him a new coach, new weapons, good OL, etc. and see what happens. You are saying, "Well Damn.  It did not work for 3 guys..."  Right now, our C is injured, we lost our top 2 WRs.  Better question:  If you need a QB, Why would you not take a chance on bringing in a QB who was a former first rounder, a good arm, intelligence, mobility, youth, etc.  and see how he does out of NY--with a better OL, better running game, better receivers.  I am not saying give him a 10-year contract, I am saying give him a chance. You act like there is no improvement on offense here--it was a 2 year process, and next year is year 2.  To me, how can you sit there with Bryce and an opportunity to sign a veteran QB on the cheap comes available and you say--"Not us. We're good.  We are waiting for Patrick Mahommes."  Jone's problem is obviously mental--and he has little support.  Why is this so frigging hard to comprehend.  It is called "bottom fishing" and it is better than sitting in the boat.
    • I think we're going to fall from behind quite early and be forced to abandon the run game.  3 rushes -2 yards 1 catch -10 yards
