Yes actually it was..  Most of the 1st day 20+ year fans here were on the original Message board on Panther.com at the official NFL site.. But as they cracked down on their standards and practices.. This site was created and that one was eliminated.. But you being a 16 year fan wouldn't know that poo..  Reality Check your 16 year fandom don't mean poo to me anyway.. No matter how long you've been a fan.. Having a doom and gloom session even before the prior season has ended is piss poor and a waste of time..

I have had sundays off at my current job for a while but we are getting new schedules next month for the rest of the year and the way its looking i might have to start working sundays now, i dont like it but I guess it couldnt have come at a better time...lol. Hopefully i will still be able to watch my team next season tho.

Who’s giving up on next season? I merely say that I see cause for concern. I know you disagree but it’s not unreasonable to say. This makes me not a real fan? The OP is.. I'm sorry reasonably conversation is .. "The bucs are making some good hires they (could be better) .. Not we are going to suck and be the worst in the division.. Again before anything has happened..

According to you. I say that if people want to express a concern on status quo after a late season collapse in a sport forum that’s ok.

I agree that OP has jumped the gun saying that we will suck next season. That’s why he got pooped on. I didn’t echo his sentiment about next season being a write off. My point is that others are making efforts to improve and we don’t seem to be showing any urgency. It is a long offseason but none of the signs point to drastic improvement in the roster indeed, the culture seems to be carry on with what got worked before. Even with a complete change of attitude towards this roster it’s hard to see any way that fortunes are going to radically improve. I will be delighted to be proven wrong. We will see.

Some people are just tired of the same 4-5 bitching about everything.  They are the same ones that show up immediately after a loss, or even a bad play, and say “I got blasted in January for saying xyz”

No one is against rational criticisms of the strategy moving forward but the egotistical bs of hoping the team sucks so you can win a message board argument is what gets old.

Let's remember how many times the next season was already "won" after coaching hires, FA, or the draft?  I mean, why show up next season?  I heard they were going to cancel the whole thing anyway so that General Andrew Luck can finally bring it home and end the memes...

Tepper acknowledges that we had a QB with a bad wing, which did not help anything.  We also had a first year DC who got replaced by the HC.  He's saying "Get your ducks in a row, or else you will not have a job here after next season."  While it's hard to understand that perspective as a fan with zero real investment in the team (unless your are a life long PSL holder or investor), Tepper bought the team and it's contracts.  I'm sure he feels like there's some good left in the tank, and that 2019 is the last year of Rivera and Hurney unless they deliver a SB contender.

I bet that the 2019 Panthers (again, we've always done well in odd years) will make a strong statement next year.  My hope is that it's a good one!
