For those who know, an MCL isn't as hard to come back from as an ACL, right?

Not even in the same league. I've torn both my MCLs. Hurts like hell for a couple of weeks but rapidly gets better after that. I have no clue about the dislocated kneecap deal.

He'd be crazy not to. He's a free agent. Might as well wait to listen to what other teams have to offer.

Yeah but that doesn't mean he will get half of what he would have before his injury.

With the state of the OT position aroimd the league, I suspect someone is going to pay him. Probably not what they would have prior to his injury, but anyone expecting to get him for a bargain is probably in for disappointment.

Williams is 100% guaranteed gone. Here are the facts. Williams got hurt. He got replaced by Taylor Moton, who played very well and is on his cheap rookie deal. LT Matt Kalil is signed on an unmovable contract for next season. If he's healthy enough to play, he will play. There's no reason to re-sign Williams and possibly end up with two ridiculously high priced tackles with one cheap one that is equally as good if not better and not coming off a knee injury. I know everyone wants to see Moton at LT and Williams at RT, but it's just not going to happen with Kalil fuging everything up with his enormous contract.

Williams is not getting re-signed. Period. End of discussion. Bye Felicia.

Draft the best offensive lineman available in round 1. Regardless of position. Then trade up in the 2nd round and and take the best offensive lineman available. We have to get serious about fixing the offensive line. It was to be our main priority by a long shot. Every QB that played for us got hurt behind our line. Look at what the Colts did. Their offensive line was horrible and it got Luck killed. They addressed it and have Luck one of the best lines in the NFL and he is playing at an MVP level. I would love to see what Cam could do behind a top 5 offensive line.

You must not be familiar with the June 1st cut.

I may be mistaken but isn't it still like a $7m cap hit to cut him then? That's still pretty outrageous even if it's lower than cutting him now. The team also ran an article on him coming back already which leads me to believe he's already in the plans for next season.

They can cut him post June 1 and if they can sign Williams then they most definitely  will
