Have Panther fans ever booed someone off the field

That was bad day to be surrounded by a bunch of drunk, obnoxious Eagles fans in the upper deck. Had to be the worst day of his career.

I was there too, upper deck, and it was the most miserable I’ve been in the stands for a Panthers game.  Worst fan base in existence

Shula used to get boo'd every FanFest. Lol

I remember Jake getting booed hard in the 2009 FanFest scrimmage, his first outing since the Arizona playoff meltdown.  He must have been thinking “hold my beer” the way that 09 opener went against the Eagles.

ah, one of my first football memories. My very first was in 01 when the saints scored on 4th and goal and pretty sure it ended the 1-15 season. could be wrong though it very well could have been 02.

The played the Patriots the last game of that season. They were supposed to play them in week 2 after beating the Vikings, then 9-11 happened and they didn't play any games the following weekend. Didn't win another game after that and the week 2 games were tacked onto the end. Patriots ended up winning the SB.

What happened to Philly Brown? I know he couldn't stay on the field but why did he wash out? I'm sure he could have found a spot somewhere?

We were fugged in the super bowl once he got flown out of bounds :(

He was with the bills at the start of 2017 season but they cut him...I know some thought we might bring him back when we lost all of our wide receivers but some speculated he burnt bridges in the organization when he left.  I don't know if that's true or any details.

I don't think he was on a team last year.

Rodney Peete was booed of the field opening day at home in 2003 vs Jax.

I know this b/c I was one of them.

He had -2 yards passing in the 1st half.

In comes the Rajun Cajun...

Was about to say this cause I was there. I remember his last pass as a Panther falling short of the receiver right into the dirt.

Back in Hurneys last years.

Cant remember if it was Carr or who.  But the whole stadium got a We Want Moore chant going (for Matt Moore) that was Loud, rivals the loudest of keep pounding chants in the bank.

You could hear it on TV as loud as the announcers

I think foxy even was asked in the post game presser, and he responded something about he thought the fans wanted more points

Hahaha I remember this.  Fox looked like a giant idiot.

I was there too...and that was one of the top 10 games I’ve been to.  Seeing delhomme lead us back with a game winning TD on the final play of the game was amazing!

Win or lose, rivera should be booed off the field after every home game he ever coaches here.

Yeah because booing the head coach when you win is a great way to show everyone how unhappy you are that you won the game.??? And let's do the wave and yell when our offense is on the field and other things that are off the wall and backwards. Fans when we win are happy unless they have an agenda and honestly life is too short not to enjoy positive moments without turning everything into a negative.

This already one of the dumbest fan bases in football. Ron Rivera is a negative in general. He is a truly bad football coach. Keep cheering for mediocrity and rotating winning and losing seasons. There is Just a different mentality when it comes to professional sports up north and down south. Every aspect of it is different. The passion, the expectations, the way the team is covered by the media, etc. Its truly a shame that we all have a front row seat to a complete waste of a Hall of fame QB and top 20 linebacker in the sports history primes.

It all started with the worst ownership in all of sports under Jerry Richardson. And now Marty Hurney and Ron Rivera will continue to do everything in their power to carry out his legacy by striving for mediocrity. David Tepper better get his head out of his ass before it’s too late with Cam and Luke.

I grew up in the north and lived there until I was in my twenties. There aren't regional differences in fan bases but maybe differences in how long a city has a team or how rabid a particular fan base is.. Tell me that Dallas fans or New Orleans fans aren't as rabid as Northern teams. You don't know what you are talking about. Plus anytime you try and pigeonhole a region into one category or another you are going to wrong much of the time. If you want to talk bad owner talk to Cleveland or Buffalo fans about mediocrity.  And honestly Cam and Luke are great players but the team will move on with or without them one day.  That is the nature of the NFL- not for long.
