Our D coord HAS TO GO..........

seriously

this D is so vanilla and has no ba!!s

I was sitting on the couch predicting correctly about 70% of the time where Eli would throw the ball and sure enough, he threw it there

why in SAM HELL are we playing zone cvg for Hixon, Toomer and Smith?

seriously???

and enough of this "bend but dont break" garbage

we need a tough, no holds barred defense

we need people on D who are tough and nasty

how many times did you see one of our D guys helping up a Giant player

Its like "Oh hello Mr Ward, thanks for raping us in the butt"

plz

a true defense is the Ravens/Steelers defense

they bring blitzes left and right, no one ever stands still and you dont know what the heck is about to happen

And they DONT help up players, unlike our bunch of Boy Scouts

my high school team could probably score 17 pts against the panthers D

either they play soft zone or bring the rare all out blitz.......thats it

for goodness sake, at least fake a few blitzes.......instead the 3 lbs just stand back there like douchbags waiting for the RB to meet them

sickening

oh and one more thing

am i the only one noticing Peppers takes about 20-30 plays off a game??

seriously

half the time, he does not even move

he justs holds his hands on the tackles' shoulders and just sits there

WTF

and enough with this "Kemo will save the day"

shut up already

Wasnt Kemo there for Atl, Det, Oakland, 1st TB game, etc??

what happened there

If Peppers had half the determination of Tyler Brayton, he'd have 25 sacks by now

but instead the idiot sits there doing squat half the game

keep drinking that Carolina Kool-Aid

you Panthers fans are so freakin delusional its not even funny

every time we lose, you bunch of morons come up with some BS excuse instead of addressing the fault(hey, that sounds like our coach)

"oh it was too cold"

"oh we weren't lucky"

"kemo wasnt there"

"beason had the flu"

"the refs did it"

"lucas had to scratch his balls so thats why he got burnt"

"our DB's were suffering from frostbite so thats why they drop so many picks"

blah,blah,blah

someone plz wake up and smell the coffee

our D coord has no balls and is scared to play defense - 2 NO NO's

I wish we had a coord like Jim Johnson, someone who just does not give a damn

when will these clowns realize a good blitz will solve almost everything

good grief

The game was great. Bottom line, the coaches tell the players to leave it all on the field and they did. The coaches left plays in the play book. You can't hold onto a slim lead on a good team like the Giants. You have to make aggressive play calls on offense AND defense in the third and fourth quarter. The Panters are a top 5 team. To be a #1 team the coaches need to start believing in the playmakers (Smith) and the roll players (King, Hoover, Jarrett) to make plays. Hang this one squarely on the coaches. NEXT GAME

I can live with this. His ideas are well thought out, and he is fair in his criticism. Foxmustgo though, well he is a damn idiot.

I agree with you on this point. I was expecting a lot more man coverage and more blitzes.

I hope you understand that Peppers is sometimes asked to play containment. He is not in there to rush the QB on every play. If JP ran up the field to get the QB on every play, wouldn't the offense simply run screens and draws all day to his side and gain 10+ yards on every play?

If you are truely a Panther's fan then you should know why Fox does what he does. He never plays all his cards in the regular season. Since we are in the tournment already and could possibly play the Giants again, he is not going to show his hand, nothing...not-a. We will see a different defense in the playoffs. That you can count on.

    • Tetairoa McMillan.   The last 28 1st overall picks were either a QB, DE, or OT. Seeing as I don't think we'd take an OT in the 1st and give up on Ickey as an LT yet and there doesn't seem to be a clear overall #1 type of QB or DE pick this year, it very well could be a non conventional #1 overall this year, at least in regards from the last almost 3 decades of drafts. If we didn't have Horn, I'd be more open to Hunter as a CB at #1, but we have him so another CB wouldn't be how I'd use a #1 pick.  And as much as I love Legette, if we have SB contending aspirations, I don't think Legette is a #1 on a team like that, but he damn sure is an elite #2 on a team like that.  He's more of the Smith/Higgins/Waddle to Brown/Chase/Hill (in terms of role/impact, not style of play of course). T-Mac is going to be the top ranked WR on every team's board in the end.  He is going to be a true outside #1 WR who is viewed as a consensus Top 5 WR in the game by his second contract in the same way guys like Jefferson and Chase have done.  His height combined with his speed, athleticism, and hands are near impossible to find all in one player, there is a reason his generally used comp is Mike Evans (although as he's not as thick, I personally see him more as an AJ Green). Yes, as an Arizona alum I've admitted to having bias towards the player to begin with.  But he's also someone very widely being put into the Top 5 in mock drafts lately and most of them have him as the first non QB offensive player being taken, so it's not really THAT much of a homer pick on my part anyways. If a QB or DE truly separate themselves as being a can't miss prospect come draft day, I'm open to that discussion, but until then, or if it doesn't happen, T-Mac is my pick 100 times out of 100.
