What Exactly Would It Take For The Panthers to Have Back to Back Winning Seasons?

As much as I don't like this current regime at the moment. In order for this team to have back to back winning seasons WITH them it would take the following.

First and foremost, Rivera needs to be at the helm of the defense. Enough of the giving the defense to assistants like it was a hand me down from last Christmas.

This defense thrives under Rivera and it showed. You can't tell me that the players didn't react and play differently when he was in the driver's seat.

He will need to have this team prepared and ready to go each and every week. He'll need to coach like his job depends on it every single week.

Norv Turner will need a few adjustments, over all he was not a bad coach or coordinator. He just needs to be a little more agressive.

The rest of the coaching staff as well. Once the right people are hired they need to get to work and have success at developing players.

Marty Hurney, here's a guy-- I'll keep it simple. He needs to make a string of correct decisions. All involving the personnel he's giving Ron. From Drafting to Free Agency and potentially letting go of players in order to make this roster the best possible one.

He needs to come out with at least 3 starters in the draft. I think last year he hit on two for sure and a third if Olsen is let go. Preferably on the defensive side.

In free agency he needs to get complimentary pieces to the core players. At least serviceable.

Cut ties with players that may not help this team or hold this team back.

As for the players, this team is very talented. For the most part it's been mismanaged.

Cam needs to be healthy. Back to back winning seasons will not come unless Cam is healthy or we have a decent back up plan for that position. It's a passing league now. Quarterback is most important and crucial for sustained success. I can't stress this enough. If Cam isn't ready to go then he must not be activated. They must find someone to take over for the short term and quite possibly the long term in case Cam's situation gets worse.

Once that is done, I think this team can win back to back seasons. Easy right?
