And you would? Come on. I wouldn't expect any player to say something like that... and if they did, you cut them.

Jake believes in himself, which is great. The problem is, he's not getting it done -and he knows that.

Until this season, I was a huge Jake fan and supporter. I felt like he had the intangibles that lead this team to a pretty good stretch over the years. But he's just come apart.

it kills you... Jake is a great person and you know he is working his ass off trying to change.. maybe he could remain a great leader within the team just like Minter and Rucker..but Jake is done as a starter. If Fox doesn't bench him soon, a lot of normally quiet fans are going to be getting angry... Moore is a solid 2nd and can fill in when needed.. but it doesn't look like he is the answer.

I'm not really sure if Moore is or is not the answer... I don't know that he has enough playing time... but I guess he has had enough that if he was something astonishing we would have seen it.

I'd like to see him get his chance with the first team.

moore may not be the answer but any coach in his right mind would at least find out. That is the problem here. If Fox refuses to play Moore, then the problem is Fox. If he plays Moore and he is just as bad, then the problem is Hurney for having these two duds on the team.

At least play someone else and lets all find out if he can do anything. Then at the end of the season we will know if we have to sell the farm for a QB

At the this point it doesn't matter if Moore is better than Jake or not. You cannot allow a player to throw 2-3 picks every game, it's unacceptable. Besides I don't think Moore could do much worse. Jake doesn't deserve to start. I hate saying that he is a good guy but being a good guy doesn't make you starter material. Whos knows, some time on the bench might make Jake better you never know. But he cannot be on the field right now.

    • Hornets actually have good young talent, but they just can't play good team ball.   Lee doesn't look like a good hire at HC so far.
    • Apparently it did no good. Getting spanked by the Wizards…again!
    • I'd be looking at mid to late round QBs every single draft simply because the potential ROI is so high. Hell, even if I have an entrenched starter and backup that wouldn't change the equation. Hit on one and I'd trade my entrenched backup to a desperate team and now I have a quality backup in a rookie contract to protect cap space and a potential asset to trade down the road or hell even develop into a starter if my starter is aging or has a career detailing injury or maybe the young guy simply proves to be better at some point. Once you get the the 4th or 5th round you're basically throwing darts at the board hoping to hit on something at that point. Most of those guys will prove to not be long for the league anyway.  I'm not saying reach on a guy just because he's a QB but if I have similarly rated prospects on the board and we're talking about a FB, a blocking TE, and a  OG with limited upside, well that's a no brainer to me. Roll the dice on the QB.
