So I'm a d-bag based upon a discussion on a football message board because of trying to be positive and thoughtful about the new ownership of the Panthers and the fact that he apparently decided to give management another year? And I'm looking down upon people?

The Huddle sure loves to label draft picks after one season, it's either homerun or bust.  I've seen too many drafts labeled homeruns under Hurney to know that you can't take that seriously.   Let's talk in another year or two.

Does your version of "hoping for the best" involve deeming our current leadership flawless and refusing to acknowledge that anything whatsoever could even possibly be wrong? 

That's a little bit different form of optimism than I'm used to

I've never said anything even recognizable to them being flawless. In fact, I've said that there was justification for Tepper to deep-six both. I expected him to start over, and I'm sure that some of my posts last month are indicative of that opinion. I've been critical of Rivera a lot over the years for different things. I've also supported Gettleman. I've also praised  Cam a lot, and criticised Cam. I also thought that Hurney got fired for valid reasons and was ALWAYS skeptical of Richardson when it wasn't really politically correct to do so. That's kinda how I roll. So, no, our current leadership is not flawless, but I am optimistic that our leadership can be better in this Tepper era.

Yet when someone points out that Hurney has done a poor job of building winning rosters - an established fact, including this past season - you get defensive and upset.

You insist on judging him in every way possible except the only one that really matters.

  So if we don’t “roll” like you do....we are just wrong? What’s your endgame here? No more complaining with legit reasons to? Why right here on this issue? If you don’t really care?

I don't try and reason with dicks or d-bags. Since you think I'm a d-bag and you're basically a self-admitted dick, there's no longer a need for a discussion. I thought you were a smarter type of reasonable guy, but I suppose we'd be better off placing each other on the ignore list.
