It’s subjective.

My tastebuds say pit-pork kissed with vinegar based sauce is right up there with the touch of a beautiful woman.

Texans, SCs, and TNs have tastebuds that say, “hey, it’s all poo eventually”.

So, we can all agree to disagree.

(unless you think differently, then you don’t count)

not enough beer in the world for this, the most perfect post i've ever seen concerning bbq.

in wnc, but eastern nc vinegar sauce is the only thing for pulled pork.

pulled pork ramen is divine.

pulled pork white bean chile is too.

used to think i needed to bow to black people for bbq's existence.   turns out its the czechs who moved to tx

thank czech people

Folks “Winter is coming” we must decide which part of NC has the best BBQ. I didn’t care for SC BBQ, I love Texas Brisket, KC is ok, but we must finish the argument of eastern, or piedmont NC BBQ! Lives are at stake people, lives are at stake. White Walkers are on their way and this must be resolved!

Love nc BBQ but I'm from Texas and I got to say Texas is the best

Texas Brisket Rub I have is the best when it Brisket.. but hen it comes to Pork the Carolina Rubs/taste works better..just depends on a persons spice tolerance/heat desire

its all good...just different...

Yup, every region has their specialty. NC is overall king of pork but Texas brisket is otherworldly, KC or St. Louis can fight over who has the best ribs, and SC's weird mustard sauce is choice for chicken. Jury's still out on that Memphis dry rub tho...

I admit KC's being the country's generic concept of BBQ does make me kinda salty, because Carolina and Texas are definitely the top 2.
