2 things I know

Who knows? Maybe for either option.

I understand you're passionate about wanting to see Cutler fail and likewise to spin an unrealistic projection of Orton doing so much better than Cutler would with the Bears, so I'll pretty much shrug this thread off.

Good for you. Ride the gravy train as long as you can.

Uhm, yeah. Sorry, nice try, but FAIL.

Oh really now? That's funny. You know, I had no idea you were a Broncos fan until a few weeks ago. Now all of a sudden, you're an awfully vocal Broncos fan... That's interesting. Don't say poo for years then pipe up when the team plays well. Oh, what's the word for that? It's on the tip of my tongue but escapes me here... Help me out, will you?

Well I'm not sure you can really pin the loss on Cutler yesterday, it was the Bears' defense that fell to poo and when you're playing behind the ball like that with an unbalanced offense it's nearly impossible to come back. I'm not a huge fan of Cutler by any means but he's done well as a Bear all things considered.

Absolutely. It wasn't Cutler who forced the Bengals to not punt until the 4th quarter. If the Bears Defense could have resembled anything like an NFL Defense, then it might have been a different game. However, that didn't happen. And not to take anything away from the Bengals, who played an amazing game on both sides of the ball.

    • Dan Morgan’s first offseason is better than any of Fitterers by a mile. Really hope we invest in defense heavily in the draft. Run first teams can’t survive with a horrible defense.
    • It may seem like our rookies have fairly low yards. But If you combine the yards for Coker,  Legette, and J.Sanders, you get 800 which is more than Neighbors or BTJ.  Also Coker is the only UDFA on this list the fact that he's on any kind of top list as UDFA makes him arguably our best move this off season for the price we paid to get him. Slam Dunk off-season by Dan Morgan. Especially if Brooks shows us something this season. We've already seen Trevin Wallace doing some good things. Getting anything out of Smith Wade or Crumedy would be a bonus. Rarely do 5th to 7th Rounders work out. In a sort of strange way that Michigan LB we drafted in the 7th got us a serviceable backup CB in Mike Jackson. So there's that too. Imagine if Morgan has just as good as of an off-season before the 2025 season for the defensive side of the ball.
    • I love Cam, and want the org to celebrate him, but they've told him why things are how they are (he isn't retired) and he says he just isn't going to and expects them not to care... I get he's never playing again, but just sign the papers to retire and call their bluff...
