do you have any info on why Thetis didn’t just turn Achilles over, and dip his heel in the river Styx too?

Fffffftttttttwwwwzzzzzz----the sound of that one flying over heads.  Another question: How did Hector know?

So don't put stock in it.  The mods aren't telling you what to believe.

Show your IQ.

U missed my point. I learned a long time ago to take random internet sources with a big grain of salt, as most of them are full of sh1t.

The shitposting and obnoxious, unnecessary threads of baseless speculation and pointless drivel are out of hand. It’s the same handful of people with too much free time on their hands that are bringing the huddle down. It’s not a personal blog for PU or Julio. Make the huddle better don’t pollute the huddle.

1. Anyone with real info who works for the Team better be smart enough not to talk.

2. If I was given what I thought was inside info I would never run to the Huddle to share it. What's the point?

It’s a cry for attention for these folks. It’s sad, honestly. NJPanthers12 spent an entire summer several years ago hooking people on here that he had a leak with the team. I am not doubting that some posters here know or interact with actual members of the Panthers organization but their “source” is more than likely some nobody yo-boy who probably picks up info at the water cooler and feeds it to people like Julio or NJP because it boosts their ego. Any person who values a hard to get NFL job is not going to risk it by leaking info to some one who isn’t even  a journalist or working in the media.

It is like every time someone  gets a thought, they start a thread.  I get it, and I think ideas are great, but many of these people are so needy, I think they create conflicts just to sound off.

I created a thread about Moton not playing LT next year because he did not play LT this year.   My premise was that we would have put him there if we felt he could play there because LT is a very important position.  That is how NFL teams have been filling the LT spot for years.

I was attacked by people whose argument ended with these stupid "facts"---

1. Clark played LT over Moton because he is more comfortable there.

2. Clark played LT because he is left handed.

3. They could not find a RT in free agency because one was not available--but they could find 2 left tackles.

4. Moton is a great LT because PFF ranked him #10 (at RT), even though he could not beat out Kalil, Clark, Newhouse, or even at RT Williams.

I was called an idiot for suggesting that the Panthers would play a great LT at LT immediately if he was a great LT.   All this to demonstrate how these people are making us all dumber every time they post.

We haven't paid anybody at the WR position in almost a decade .. or maybe even actually a decade ..

KB, no. Funchess, no. ... LaFell, no ...

We have never shown the money to a WR while we've had Cam and Rivera ... so why the fug not? When it comes to trading for Antonio Brown, why not?

I for one think Brown will be a Panther

Two reasons

1.  It would cripple our ability to add pieces we need elsewhere.

2.  We have a solid recieving corps as is.

I'm sure someone can give more reasons if these are not good enough.

Hector didn’t know ish. Achilles buried his Trojan arse. Hector’s cousin Paris had to clean things up near the end of the Trojan War (not cited in the Iliad).

1) It is very unlikely we will sign a big name free agent. We just don't have the money. Before you ask why, please look at Cam, Luke, Short, Kalil, Poe, Addison. 6 guys (11% of the roster) take up 47% of the salary cap. We pay our players, sometimes too much.

2) Cam will play in 2019 if he is able. He would be stupid not to, he is playing for an extension and/or he is playing to show other teams what he is still capable of doing.

3) We cannot trade players that aren't signed with us. Devin Funchess may or may not be a Panther next season, but we cannot trade him unless he signs a new contract and then we trade him, which would be ridiculous.

4) Tepper is a new owner, he would be dumb to fire his experienced staff after one season, a season that was plagued with injuries.

5) Very few elite players make good coaches, even fewer want to come back and coach.

6) Please refer back to #1, if you do not understand how the salary cap works Kevin, myself and a few others in here are happy to answer questions to help you understand. But please don't post "Sign 20 million dollar Antonio Brown and then be surprised when you are ridiculed.

Hoping this is meaningful to your "fan base" . . .
