he aight. but we probably gonna need to start him next year since we can't really place money in upgrading that right now. The OL will take a hit next year unless we move Moton back to LG, which may actually help on protecting that side of the line. Glad it took major injuries to see he was worth a damn and serviceable. Not a Norwell but good enough.

We could very well have to stick with him but I hope not. He’s good depth but LG and C remain question marks going into next season.

Ron robbed the guy of 2k.

Really?

A) How do you know he had any desire to get 2K? He's always indicated nothing matters but wins.

B) Would you feel the same if he had stayed in and tore an ACL on his next touch? or would be like most on here and blamed Rivera for leaving him in the game?

I understand that side but damn I wanted him to reach 2k the same way I wanted Smitty to get that triple crown, and the way I wanted Pep to get to number three in sacks all time. It’s awesome to see your favorite player reach unbeleavable milestones.

You wanted. That doesn't warrant blaming Rivera or Turner. If CMC had expressed the desire, I'd bet he'd have stayed in

Very true it’s amazing. The last game dropped his participation percentage but other than that he’s right with them. Ron robbed the guy of 2k.

Sorry man, the 2k wasn't going to happen and it wasn't worth risking an injury to him. Also, had they left him in, people around here would have been shouting that RR screwed CAP and the other RBs by not giving them a chance in a meaningless game.

He was 35 yards away from getting it......I’m not saying his health isnt important, But it could only take the kid one or two plays to get that. We played Jackson and bradberry a significant portion of the game and they are the young future stars of the team but no one cared about that.

Sorry, my math was wrong, I thought he was 135 away (something really out of reach by then). My bad.

I still don’t understand any talk of putting Moton at LG. He finished as the #15 PFF tackle and that was his first year as a starter. Guard is so much easier to replace and find later in draft. Moton is a solid tackle, leave him there. I hope Williams is healthy and we can sign him to a not so bad deal. Using our 2nd or 3rds should get us a decent G or C to upgrade Van Roten or Larsen (might be too hard to do both).

Moton and Williams need to be our starting tackles, Moton on left.
