Batum is single-handedly keeping the Hornets from being a top 5 team in the east. How Jordan allowed Cho to max him is beyond me. Even his best season of his career doesn't warrant a max contract. Just imagine having an extra 25 million in cap to work with.

If a team like Washington would be willing to take on his contract for Beal I would give them 2 first rounders he is that much of a cancer. I have never hated a basketball player so much.

Jordan allowed Cho to sign him to a max deal for two reasons:

1.  Michael Jordan has absolutely no clue how to run a professional franchise.

2.  Charlotte is one of the vast majority of franchises in the NBA who have to throw huge money at marginal players like Nic Batum.
