I was under the impression we couldn't get anything going deep because there was something wrong with Newton's shoulder?

The fact we never went deep, and our passing offensive was based on quick, shallow passes to McCaffrey, couldn't have had anything to do with our offensive line.

Week 17 we had a QB with a healthy shoulder. We went deep. (Until said QB also got hurt behind our poo offensive line).

"B..b...b....ut what about Moton moving to LT because he was great in preseason?  What about that?"

I am not happy about this potential move, but some of you gurus stated in another thread that Moton is the LT of the future even though he could not beat out Kalil or Williams in 2018.

Moton did not move to LT permanently when Kalil went down because he was never in the plans at LT....They do not see him as a LT---a few Huddlers got ass chapped over that.

That could change one day, and if so, Moton will get his shot.  Until that happens, you are wrong about Moton playing LT as part of the Panther plans.  He is, at best right now, reason to walk away from Williams and a big contract at RT---or in the plans for work at LG.

That is all this is at this time.

I'm just waiting for the koolaid drinkers to tell us it's ok and just accept it and be happy to be a fan.

Can't do it anymore.

That's pretty much what we're getting.

"Hey, this season was a historic collapse, the guys in charge don't even have a 500 record together yet they're being retained, but hey be positive anyway."

Yeah, sure :eyeroll:

The only two things Matt Kalil could do for the Panthers is to either a: renegotiate that contract down to about $1.5 million a year or b: look like a powerful, skilled LT that would lure in a sucker, errr trade partner, before June 1.

Nothing good comes from paying, playing or cutting him right now. He has us in the proverbial Mongolian Hold and the only way out for us would damage us.
