The Kitchens situation reminds me of the Dirk Koetter situation in Tampa. Promoting the OC who had success with a young QB so you don't lose that OC. 

Edit: The other thing I"d say about Kitchens is he was with Arians for a little while in Arizona. Arians was reported to have wanted the Browns job. Maybe he decided to step aside and take the Tampa job so his old friend Kitchens could get the Browns gig.

What happened to being a successful OC / DC for years before you get a HC job.

Other then Fangio & Arians, I can't believe some of these hires. 

Kitchens and his 8games of OC work......lol

Wilks should of never been hired by AZ to begin with so not surprised they do another kneed jerk hire with Kingsbury.

If I was Bengals fan and they fire Marvin Lewis then hire Hue Jackson.. I'm f*cking done. 

A phone call recco from Peyton is all it takes...:omg:

The Browns interviewed Kevin Stefanski after he'd only called the last few games of the Vikings season, and they didn't even win all those games.

Teams that are always trying to catch the "hot hand" are basically that guy you know who's always trying some "get rich quick" scheme rather than actually working hard.

If you were a Bengals fan, you would be fully expecting Hue Jackson or someone who is completely out of left field.  The Bengals are the Bengals for a reason.  Two words: Mike Brown

Sorry, I fully expect a warning from the mods.

His only qualification to even talk about football, let alone be an owner, let alone being a hands-on owner is he is the son of Paul Brown.  If his name was Mike Green, he'd be limited to making inane comments on this board to get us shaking our heads.
