Look if Cam can’t throw the ball downfield more than 15 yards we have to get someone who can. The offense looked much different yesterday with a guy who could actually throw deep. We completed 2 more deep passes yesterday than all season before that.

Interesting that we waived Garret Gilbert today, leaving us with Cam and Kyle as our only QB's currently under contract.

That tells me they expect both to be ready to play come next season, so for them depth is not a concern.

Allen was the most impressive compared to how he looked in training camp and preseason. 

A lot of poise. Accurate, strong arm, consistently good decisions.

He honestly looked really good. Just as good as Matt Moore when he stepped in and Matt was a fringe starter for years. He earned the back up job in my opinion. Definitely want him to develop and be the guy behind Cam.
