Tepper won't speak

Hey I want Rivera fired but maybe he is looking at who the hell u going to hire to do much better. Not anybody that just got fired off of other teams. Maybe he couldn't get the guy he wanted right now. So he is like I guess we stick with Rivera another year and maybe I can get who I want after that. I really don't understand what he is thinking right now. I'm confused!

this is one of the problems with too much access to info in today's world.

Random reporter wanted Tepper to speak "now".  Tepper says no thanks.  Now everyone paints this picture that Tepper is being silent and hiding.  Reporters don't get to demand and set the schedule.   No need to overreact because we in our instant gratification world, didn't get everything we wanted to know the exact moment you could argue he could of given an end of season/affairs report on the franchise in the hallway.

That's definitely true, especially in the bigger world picture too.

Official confirmation would be nice.  Hell a written statement or a post to social media.  Something.

Whats even more strange is that Rivera indicated in his presser this morning that Tepper didn’t tell him he is safe.  He just said over and over that he concluded that he might be safe based on the tone and context of their conversions.  So odd.

What press conference? They were clearing out the locker room and the media was asking him questions, that's not a press conference that was scheduled was it?

Poor choice or words.  He was in the locker room, not a formal presser.

What's up with the silent treatment? He should at least say something. He was out and about when we were 6-2 and now he's nowhere to be found.

Nothing will ever change with this mediocre franchise.

He's probably waiting on JR's orders. Wants to announce we will bring back TD on a 30mil/yr deal

Stop with the nonsense. You all just want something to happen, regardless of whether it's good for the long term prospects of the team.

Have any of you ever considered that perhaps Tepper doesn't want to answer questions because he hasn't fired anyone yet, and doesn't want to have to use his poker face when the media starts throwing names at him as possible firings? Steve Reed, like the rest of us, is just guessing at this point. He has no idea what Tepper's silence 'points to.'
