Dude I am probably a lot more flexible than most here. For example I work with children and adolescents daily and usually can relate. I just finished up raising my youngest who lives downstairs in his own apartment going to college. Can some rookies play right away. Yep. Are they better than most vets off the bat ? Typically not. Vets will tell you even with the rookies with the most talent, that they can still abuse them until their technique improves.  Which h is usually a half season into their rookie year. Truth is many  college coaches don't seem interested In teaching pro techniques to their players so much as doing whatever will help winning right away. You can tell the difference at draft time when you see who is considered plug and play and who needs time to learn his craft.
