I’m not sure anybody is expecting Peppers to get 15 sacks if he comes back. More likely a supporting role, just like Harrison and the Patriots/Steelers...

I get everyone wanting to move on...but DE is the one spot I don't know if we really can completely move on. Pep on a 1 year, 2 million dollar deal to be a situational pass rusher and mentor our probable 1st round pick?  Yeah, I'll take that all day. That's worth the 3 sacks and forced fumble he'd probably give us on the field alone. 

We have one average or better DE on the roster next year in Addison...who is even a cut or restructure candidate because of his contract.  Addison is also pretttttty average if we're being honest here. Pep at least gives us a decent depth option and is better than a Bryan Cox that will make the team anyway.

Unless he is taking a pay cut no need.. We need to be aggressively pursuing younger options at pass rusher.. We need to bring in atleast 2 new players at that position..
