Quinn is 6-2 against RR, how is that considerably worse? And that 6-2 record is exactly why I'm happy if RR is retained.

Quinn has one of the most stacked offensive rosters of all time with a healthy QB and is putting up losing seasons.  He's been garbage since Shanny left.

good fugin fugin fick fack

Falcons fans are now smarter than these idiot Panthers fans....it was bad enough that the Saints fans came and blessed these morons....omg.....just omg...

Wasn't going to do that, figured everybody would understand what I meant when I said I was happy with RR being retained.

But, he insisted.

Both our teams have had years that sucked, injuries killed any chance either team had.  I was coming here to commiserate with fellow football fans.  Hate wait til next year, but, wait til next year.

But yet he still owns RR.   I hate agreeing with a buzzards fan but he ain't wrong.

So does this change everyone’s opinion about Tepper or...

Still to early for me to sour on Tepper.  I’m still going with he is smart, wants to win, and I’m going with ... I am going to trust his decisions.

Time will obviously telling if they are the right ones.

I know the difference between administration and evaluation.

I can explain it to you if you need.

I don't believe you're this big of an idiot.

Hurney, who served as general manager of the Panthers from 2002-12, returned to the organization as interim general manager two days after Dave Gettleman was fired by owner Jerry Richardson.

“Marty is the perfect person to help us in the interim,” Richardson said. “He worked with us for 15 years and understands the culture we have here. He had a lot to do with the core of our team being in place. I’m thankful that he is willing to help us in this transition period.”

Hurney worked in the scouting department from 1998-2001 before becoming GM. Gettleman was hired in January 2013 to replace Hurney, who was fired after a 1-5 start to the 2012 season and a 6-10 record in 2011.

"Hurney, a former San Diego Chargers executive who served as a Panthers' scout from 1998-2001, took the post one week before the Panthers open pre-season training camp workouts in Spartanburg, South Carolina."

You're actually resorting to inaccurate news reports now? Wow :)

This is from Hurney's bio on Panthers.com. It's a slightly more reliable source.

He previously worked for the Panthers from 1998-2012, serving as director of football administration in 1998, director of football operations from 1999-2001 and general manager from 2002-12.

The "Director of Football Operations" job is the same job Brandon Beane had before he got promoted. It was a logistics and organizational job. It didn't involve scouting.
