Sure, it's nice to win in NO...but it's hollow. I don't think anyone really cares about the Saints and their regular season records. Future of our team is a tad more important.

Agreed.  Yes, I would've wanted to have a better draft position, but NFL players don't play to lose.  Hell, we didn't even play Luke or CMAC the majority of the game... players are fighting for roster spots next season and want to put good tape out there for the rest of the league to see.  Can't ask players to not try... that's how you get hurt

The outcome of this game doesn’t matter to the saints. At all. You think they’re even remotely thinking of this game in a couple hours? Lol. When they’re getting ready to host their playoff opponent, do you think this game is remotely embedded into their memory? Nah. It ain’t.

We won and are this penalized more than a few draft spots for it.

no winning record overall...but THIS....THIS is the ticket fellers and MISTERS.

This is coming from people who can never beat someone at something and actually celebrate or thinks it matters when they aren't even paying attention to you and you beat them once out of 100 and then just casually go about their day while you're the only one celebrating like you did something. They also played the game in some flip flops while wearing socks and talking on the phone, but CONGRATULATIONS!!

The Panthers played many more starters. They were even willing to put Christian in the game. I can't believe they actually had him warming up.

So what are we supposed to do, fumble it intentionally every play and make a mockery out of the game? That's a great way to build for the future right there and I'm sure the NFL would have no problem at all with us doing that.

We're keeping Ron.  Probably keeping Marty.  Cam is hurt, no indication of how long recovery will take.  So, all in all, the future isnt exactly glaringly bright and this win didnt affect any of that.

So any team today in NFL below .500 should not show up today right?  I mean they have no reason to try at all  if they cannot make the playoffs.
