About this "meaningless" game and the draft

Umm Jackson > Bradberry rookie year. Are you serious right now. You forgot julio Jones putting up 360 yards against us in 2 games?

I want to mention I rather be the patriots with no top 10 picks constantly winning suprrbowls or in the superbowl than just having a "HOF" top 10 player with no superbowls. We've got 3 top 10 players since 2010 and still can't make the playoffs in back to back seasons, 2014 don't count save it. I think that talk is irrelevant

Bradberry got hurt and didn't play in that Julio 300 yard game thoe??

You guys want a team that folds their last game intentionally- got it.

im glad we don’t have that.

go cry a river.

Saints had no problem folding in order to completely screw us out of several draft spots in multiple rounds...they simply outsmarted us again.

I’m glad you’re enjoying your participation trophy

I'm sorry you didn't get to have good day and had to watch the Panthers win.  Not everyone can be happy today but the off-season is upon us so hopefully the team makes good decisions for next season.

Lol. Bradberry didn’t play in that 200 yards game by Julio. How’d Julio do this year on Bradberry? How’d Ridley/Sanu do against Donte?

It’s revisionist history to say Bradberry wasn’t better his rookie year. Remember Bradberry being ranked in the top 25 by PFF: https://www.profootballfocus.com/news/pro-top-25-nfl-cornerbacks-this-season

Donte is ranked 69th this year. He started great and has been getting torched in the losing streak. Remember Breshard Perriman burning him to a crisp? He hasn’t been covering Mike Evans, Julio, AJ Green, OBJ, Thomas, etc. and Bradberry still has a better ranking this year overall. I like Donte but he hasn’t been as good as he started. He’s gotten figured out a bit and I hope he continues to get better because he needs some work based on his second half play.

Also, while I love Cam, he’s not close to Tom Brady and we don’t have Belichick so guess what we need better picks. Oh, I’d love to be NE with all the Super Bowls, be we aren’t them. Our best players on the team right now are top 10 picks, but you are right let’s just give up pick 16 and pick 30th, that’ll make the pick better. SMH.

Its not revisionist history, his stats are better are they not? Across the board their rookie years. I dont care about no PFF ranking. I've watched teams this year avoid Jackson, who avoided Bradberry this year? Who avoided Bradberry his rookie year? We don't have to have Jackson play off in fear of being burnt. Bradberry perform better on bigger less quicker receivers. Jackson a rookie, of course we put Bradberry the more experienced player on teams best receivers. We definitely didn't put him on Antonio Brown though after seeing him struggle against OBJ. Not only is Jackson stats better his rookie year than Bradberry rookie year, they're better this year. Bradberry has had 6 more pass deflections, that's it

To get back to the main point here, Browns got hella top 10 picks, still can't make the playoffs. The Eagles since 2010 only had 1 top 10 pick playing and performing in the SB, their top 10 pick Wentz didn't even play and they won. Right now they play better with Foles. You have to show me some correspondence between top 10 players and Superbowl victories, other than that it is irrelevant.

Just saw that our win puts us at the 15th pick BEHIND Atlanta and a loss would have put us at 8th or 9th...we need Denver and Cincinnati to win if we have any chance of moving to the 13th spot.....so this win cost us realistically 7 draft spots if everything remains the same.

So how exactly does the team go about tanking this game? Do you tell Kyle Allen to throw as many picks as possible and embarass himself in his only career start in order to help the draft position of the team that’s probably going to cut him next year and hope he says “ok” instead of reporting it?

Or do you tell CAP that he should spend his last shot at salvaging an NFL career playing the role of Butterfingers McFumble?

These are players with lives and careers to think about.

I know it sucks about our draft position, but damn people. Sometimes real life happens...and stuff. Grow up. You wankers.

That is all.

Best we could of done is 9th with a loss.  We're currently sitting at 15th with current scores. Worst case is 16th and best spot being 13th

Team's give up a first rounder to move up into a top ten, we just moved out of a top 10 because "feelings" and "momentum". Like anyone is going to remember in September 2019 what an abomination of a game we won in December 2018

I will remember. Never forget the Panthers beating the Saints in what maybe some back ups only chance to starting.  They did good.  Kept Pounding.

You do get what was at stake here, dont you?

Thats 5-10 spots back in each round.

A measurable and significant difference to the talent we can acquire in a draft we so desperately needed.

Thats less smiles over the next few years.

You do understand this right?

Which doesn't mean much of anything when drafting for BPA as we always do. Draft for need? Fine but those #1 & #2 OL and DL everyone wants will be gone anyway. Not to mention it's a crap shoot on future productivity. If you aren't rooting for your team to win every mother fuging time they take the field then gtfo. Do YOU get that?

You are absolutly clueless and impervious to logic, strategy or reason.

I do not cut my nose off to spite my face... that's what this win does. We feel good in the moment (and for the record, fug the saints) but lose in the big picture.

You got a moral victory today?

fug your moral victory.

I have been, and will always be, a Panther fan since the beginning.

Some of our worst seasons have led to some of our best players. Hard in the moment but positive in the long run. Today was no more a clearcut example of that than ever.

If you don't get the idea behind tactical retreat and acceptable losses for the larger picture than good luck in life as a whole... much less your meaningless uninformed football perspective.
