Jake apologists

I'm not a fan of Jake either, but I hope to God you were joking about what you just said.

"Wow, this guy is a Jake apologists, so I'll ban him because he doesn't think like me.....ohh, I'm such a tough guy."

Aren't trolls routinely banned? Jake apologists are, by their very nature, trolls. If you want Jake to continue starting, then you're rooting against the Panthers. Don't people that constantly do that get banned?

jesus.. just.. shut... up... we all disagree with the Jake defenders... the very few that are left... there is a HUGE difference between banning someone because of breaking the rules/ inciting negativity and banning someone for having an opposing viewpoint... and there certainly are many forums that ban differing opinions... it would be a tragedy if the huddle fell into that practice.

SMF, apparently I'm "arguably" the biggest Jake apologist on this board... (as stated by kids on this board)... I would very much like for someone to point me to such a post I've made that suggests (EVEN SLIGHTLY) such a statement made..

I'm not even calling you out, but hoping (perhaps) you have some sort of balanced mentality to help 2 "extremes" come together and realize they all are pointing to the same thing, but one wishes to focus on Delhomme and the other to point out that other parts to the equation exist...

If not, then nevermind... the battle will go on.

However, I cannot for hte life of me figure out who these "jake apologists" are and where they are posting, when in fact, most people are simply point out there are more problems than just Jake while at the same time pointing out that Jake needs gone. When someone posts that very statement, it doesn't seem to me they are jake apologists at all.

Now, I've talked to many of these "trolls" you are referring to who you might say are "realists" as they claim, but we have both come together and found common ground to a basic understanding of the points being made.

Unfortunately, I can't reach out to everyone and most of the time not all deserve it because there is no balance in thought amongst a lot of people.

It's up to you and every other person who is throwing out random attacks who seem to not understand this.

Just sayin, show me proof of these people or get off the soap box and let's chat on a common ground.

go watch the postgame on NFL.com and listen to Jake answer the question about remaining the starter.......even Jake knows he shouldn't remain the starter. He doesn't want to give it up.....but as he said, "let's be honest"...........

pick 6's and giving the ball to the opponent already in scoring position for the opposing offense......he does it every week. Doesn't matter if he is better than Moore/Feely...the fact they can't turn it over at the same rate makes them better options.

I don't think there is even any credence to the statement "Jake is the best option on the team right now." If that is the case, Fox and Hurney really should be fired and immediately. To let your QB situation get to the point where a QB with 4 TDs and 13 INTs through six games is your best guy speaks volumes to those two numbskulls ability to look to the future.

IMO, Jake is no longer the best option, regardless of the unknown that is Matt Moore and AJ Feeley. Jake does not help the offense anymore. He makes no one better. In fact, he makes everyone worse.

In most instances, he fails to utilize all of his receiving options (he did do a good job of this today). He rarely keeps the defense honest anymore. I say that because when he does throw it deep, it is often picked off. He makes the running game worse because teams do not think he can beat them. They load the box, and the running game suffers. Things will continue to be this way until Jake changes, which I don't think will happen.
