I guess everyone here don't know anything either cause before the season everyone here loved our offseason and said Hurney 2.0 was great but be cause Cam got hurt and killed our season its Hurney's fault.

It is hurney’s fault. Did we have anything for depth at ANY posistion this year. Did any of his free agency signings work out?

1. Gaulden maybe can be held off as a bust.  But the kid had the lowest athletic score of any Safety to come through the combine.  And was projected as a 5th round guy.   We've seen this move before with Charles Godfrey and Sherrod Martin.  When put in during preseason for the injured Searcy, he got beat repeatedly and picked on.  He11 Ron trusted collin fugging Jones over him.

2. Poe has Rarely seen a double team this year, and has been manhandled by single teams.  Our own fugging division rival warned us as they didnt even attempt to sign him.  Dude isnt the same guy that was in KC.  It isnt a coincidence that KK and Addison's play dropped off and Luke had his worst year the same time we replaced Star with Poe.

3. Smith wasnt a backup, he was brought in to start and groom DJ.

4. Searcy was avg in camp and preseason and didnt look any better than Coleman when we cut him.  This is prior to him even getting injured.

5. Backup QB, we didnt even attempt to draft one when everyone pointed out we needed too.  He just waited to get some scrub as a UFA as the primary backup to Cam.

We didnt have money correct but, hell anyone can go out and build a fugging roster with $$.   The good GMs, the NFL level GMs go find the cheap key pieces to build and complete the puzzle.

Fugging Hurney got canned and this team had a helluva a lot less cap.

But it was the Key cheap Puzzle Pieces that completed the puzzle to get the 2015 team where they were at.  The Peanuts, Colemans, the Ginns, Harpers, Ohers etc.  Not 1 Hurney signee this year is even in the same breathe as those guys

Hurney got fired for being the worst at his job in the league.  And Didnt Get A Call From Anyone Else.....For A Reason.  He11 Hugh Fugging Jackson even got a call acter being canned from Cleveland.   That shows you what the rest of the league sees in Hurney

I don't know where you get the idea that Poe hasn't faced double-teams...

This discussion wasn't really supposed to be about Hurney's first stint. The contention about Hurney is that his first stint along with his being able to observe and learn from afar after he was fired gives him unique insights and a rare perspective the second time around, which will hopefully lead to improvements.

Anyway, you obviously see things totally different. So, be you!

he signed Reid and he working on bring back long term as we speak, also got Anderson but coaches refuse to play him for whatever reason and u saw what he could have done here last sunday when he started for the rams. Another thing its hard to recover when your star qb gets hurt not many teams have good backups qbs so thats hard to come back from.

The coaches didn’t refuse to be play Anderson, he refused to do the role they had for him. He was a diva that wanted to be the center of play calling, when he got his shots he fuged them up.

So reid who isn’t great but manageable, so we got 4 players how about your other 46?

It’s called depth I’m not sure how you aren’t understanding this. Bad depth is a direct result of a horrible GM. We haven’t had a full offensive line since what week 1?

how does your star QB get hurt? Playing behind bad depth.

The salary cap exists. Only a fool believes you can change an entire NFL roster in one  offseason.

Hurney overpaying everyone after the lockout fiasco was mostly driven by Richardson.

Richardson's whole thing was slightly overpaying to keep "the core"

I dont know if that will continue without him owning the team

His giving extensions to Davis, Olsen and Peppers and letting Kalil keep his full salary for a "farewell" season aren't exactly good signs.

What worries me most though is that he's paired with Rivera. We know from his own words that Rivera wants older veterans to be able to finish "on their own terms".  Gettleman opposed him on that. Not sure Hurney will.
