Again, this is basically a preseason game but it's hard not to like this kid.

Also hard to forget that our coaches believed he was worse than Taylor Heinicke and didn't deserve a roster spot.

Because the Saints aren't playing their starters or even trying.

Allen looks great. And it’s against mostly staters with offensive backups. It’s hard to root against your team in this situation even if it means we get a much better draft pick.

Payton is laughing inside so hard right now.  I'm sure he trying to contain it for the camera's but he's going to lose it after the game and we drop like 8 draft spots.  Great!!

 Kyle Allen is an accurate QB with good pocket presence. Hes throwing against the starting Saints secondary too so hes not playing against scrubs.

For those of you that think draft position doesn’t matter. Imagine we would have beat the Bucs in 2016 in a meaningless week 17 game. We would have fallen out of the top ten which would have most certainly resulted in us not being able to select CMac.

Ron Rivera will pound his chest after this game saying the team is headed in the right direction. Tepper will buy it for now. Rivera will be back in 2019 and the mediocrity cycle will start all over again.
