I thought he nailed this year's draft with:

DJ

Donte

Ian

That's three starters and got a ST player out of it in Carter

He nailed a 1st round pick that he really didnt even really make the pick.  It was said new OC Norv and Cam practically begged for Moore who was the top WR in the draft.

He fell in our lap. When others thought he'd go earlier.

Thomas and Jackson was a good pick.

While the 3rd round pick was a total flop.

But one had an 80% success rate of making the playoffs with Rivera. The other is still holding a donut in that category. So by YOUR criteria, one was much better than the other.

Its fugging insane how people still support him

How short the memory

People practically BEGGED for him to be canned over Fox.  And when he was fired, it was dam near a parade downtown.  While people said was the greatest move the panthers ever made.

Now he's back.

Hasnt done anything game changer.

Considering the one that was more successful did it while making up for the ineptitude of the other...Yes it is saying a lot. One had a new job in 6 months. One hasn’t been contacted by another NFL team in 20 years.

I guess I could just be lazy and say everyone sux too. My bad.

Cam,Luke,Olson,Thomas,Jackson,Moore, and CMC. Not really a bad track record honestly and I'm definitely not a Hurney Homer. Find a coach who can actually help develop talent and you might have a winning combination.

Well. Let’s see.

CMC- uhhh what?

Cam and Luke were signed to very good contracts by DG. What would they have been if Hurney negotiated them? Something like Olsen’s, which will cost us 7.4M when Olsen doesn’t play. Great extension there.

And three rookies.

5 straight years without making playoffs. The current coach had very little trouble making the playoffs with another GM.

You’re changing this into yet the 50th millionth Hurney vs Dg debate that I’m quite frankly not up for since I could care less for both. Cool dg got another job with the giants congrats to him, but some of the moves he made and picks he made before his departure have hampered the team, it is what it is both failed to bring a trophy to Charlotte
