Sadly, I was a doubter when we drafted him, he removed all that quite a while ago.  We are lucky to have him, just hope he isnt the next horse Rivera rides to its death.

Well I think he was fifth in voting behind gurley Saquon Elliot and Kamara. But he has more scrimmage yards than 4 of those guys, the best rush avg, and by far the most receiving catch’s and yards. So just like his heisman snub he was snubbed lol

I have always been of the opinion you don't take a RB with a top 10 pick just because most RBs are done by 30. McCaffrey is special talent without a doubt, and was worth the 8th pick.

I still think we could have traded down to 11 or 12 and still gotten him, but DG never was one to wait long enough for the phone to ring before his 1st pick.

Like he said, if the guy you want is there you take him.  You don't take a chance on trading down in the hopes he will still be there when you pick.

They should throw to CMC early and often on Sunday. Try and get him that 1000/1000 season.

My pick at the time was Lattimore and Cook/Kamara in the second. I thought Cook/Kamara had a similar skill set as McCaffrey and Lattimore was the bigger need. I admit McC has been an excellent pick, he just wasn't mine at the time.
