I don't give you credit for responding though. It would be better if everyone ignored the usuals.

Valid, but it's amusing at times.

It's kind of like if you had one of those old talking dolls. In this case, it's one where you pull the string and the doll says something stupid

LOL gotcha...it is hilarious that a living creature actually thinks producing behind a suspect OL/offense means you'll do better than otherwise. The classic stat padding on all of those 1 score losses we had and everyone keying in on you....rofl

Every stat in the OP should have an asterisk denoting * that he was on a 6-10 football team with nobody else on offense besides McCaffrey making plays, hence why they were 6-10

It's indicative of the shortcomings in other areas of the offense like another poster said. @tondi

Most of McCaffrey's catches are check downs and a check down is something even the lowest level of QB's and RB's can execute. You guys are ridiculous. 6-10 guys, 6-10, all of those glorious McCaffrey stats apparently meant nothing in the grand scheme of things, whereas Gurley's stats appear to have meant everything in the grand scheme of things.

People hate the truth. They hate it.

this argument doesn't fly because he was putting up those numbers during our 6-2 first half.

yes we are feeding him the ball. how are you gonna put up numbers like that if they aren't feeding you the ball? they feed him the ball because he can put up those kinds of numbers.

dumb post

This from the same guy that wants to keep Rivera. You should have stuck with your dumb cable guy alts

They feed him the ball because when all else fails (and all else usually does fail on the offense) just give the ball to McCaffrey ... that is not conducive to success, obviously. Imagine having a WR who could catch 100 balls, that would be nice, right?

yes that would be great! that would mean we have a great, dynamic wide receiver, because putting up those kinds of numbers means you're a great, dynamic player.

hopefully we can install a head coach and offensive system that allows receivers like samuel and moore to thrive and take the load off of CMC while utilizing his proven talent to take pressure off the receivers.

Catching 100 balls as a RB naturally less of a feat than a WR who catches 100 balls, because generally a WR is catching his balls downfield whereas a RB is catching a check down ...

i would rather have a receiver catching a hundred balls, but a dynamic running back catching that many while also putting up a grand on the ground is a tremendous asset to a football team.

hopefully samuel or moore can step up into that kind of production with better coaching and an improved offense.

How many rb can catch 100% of 106 catchable balls while getting over 1000 rushing at 5 ypc behind a bad line?

The issue I have with this is he's been getting a ton of reps, and at some point that takes a toll. Guys were fine running Cam into the ground too. Now you see where we are. Everyone is human. We need more versatility in this offense not less. One guy shouldn't be carrying the load.

Crazy thing is there are some people arguing CMC isn't getting enough touches. This isn't madden.

The lack of ingenuity in our offense is ultimately on Ron.

He played it safe in promoting Shula to OC from QB coach, and he played it safe hiring his buddy Norv after interviewing no one else. He did the same thing with Eric Washington too.

As long as Rivera is deathly afraid of thinking outside the box and getting outside of his comfort zone with both coaching hires and coaching philosophy, we will in all likelihood continue to see similar results with this offense.

Proud to say that he was the player I dreamed of us drafting in 2017.  I knew what he was capable of and also knew that the color of a man's skin doesn't ever determine what he's capable of.  Cam Newton and Christian McCaffrey just destroying moronic stereotypes every year.  We are blessed to have 2 of the best at their positions.  Just need Cam to get healthy for next year.

This narrative started before he even played a down for us and is continuing to no avail. This dude will be 23 heading into next season and has never missed an NFL game in his career.

Meanwhile the Huddle's favorite choice for a RB in the 2017 draft Leonard Fournette has missed God knows how many games.  Lol at Huddle Logic.
