Disagree. They need to fire Kevin Colbert immediately

See now this is some intelligence in a moronic thread.

I see what you're doing Scot and I agree. That way we most certainly SHOULD NOT hire him ourselves!

They Aints going to the SB. They'll f' it up like they always do.

Ever heard of the psychological defense mechanism called "projection"?  Look it up.  LOL

By the way...we're one for one in Super Bowl appearances.  How about you guys?

And explain this whole phenomenon here on this board (which I really don't see anywhere else) where posters want to seem like "bad boys" so damned much that they want to shock everyone by throwing around those terrible bad words, but they can't seem to muster the conviction to actually say those words and so sprinkle every post with "fug"...like that's somehow splitting the difference.  Like they'll gain some kind of "street cred" for their "real talk"...but they can't be banned because they didn't actually curse, did they?  Don't know, like I said, but every other team's message boards seem to self-enforce that kind of law school-idea of badassery right out of there.

Oh, and one last thing while I'm here tonight....despite my obviously contentious take on things here, I really hope you all have a peaceful and happy Christmas season.

The board has filters.

That's not the point, so obviously I wasn't clear...

The board has filters....most do.  Most are also full of posters who know that there's absolutely no difference between typing "fug" and the more accurate spelling because there's no one reading it who isn't automatically reading it in their head as the "real thing" anyway.  Most boards have a majority of the members acting on the premise that the board is a public forum available to any and everyone and not your garage where you're watching the game with your buds.  That there's places to use whatever kind of language you want...and then there's a public forum for fans of all ages.  And that it comes off as kinda douchy when you have to try to get the idea across that you won't hesitate to use the strongest language...just that you won't risk the consequences of, you know...actually using that language.

Anyway, I spent way too much time on the topic and I guarantee I'm coming across as the old man yelling at the kids to get off his lawn, and I get that.

Filters meaning that if you type the "correct spelling", it automatically changes it to "fug" or "poo". There aren't a bunch of adults on here deliberately writing out those words.

There's also a filter for a certain former Florida quarterback that played briefly for the Broncos (try writing his name out and you'll see) as well as filters that alter the name of certain other websites to "an inferior site" when you type them out.
