What about GM?

I want Jim Harbaugh, he is a players coach and made for the NFL. He took San Francisco to the Superbowl and he is probably the biggest name we can get. He would bring a respect factor to our organization.

*Also any news on Cam's future with the team?

IMO Harbaugh's sideline shenanigans would be even more tiresome than Ron's stoic aloofness.  Would imagine the players would get sick of it too.

I don’t understand all the Harbough love. 49er players hated him for treating them like college kids. Some went as far as to question his sanity. He hasn’t done anything at Michigan worth a damn. Yes, they had some quick success in San Fran but once defenses learned Kaepernick’s weaknesses, they started to fizzle out.

I’ll admit, I was hoping for a Harbough/Luck package deal back in the day, but he’s a hard pass at this point...for me at least.

I wouldn't mind seeing us keep him as a DC. Held the Saints to just 12 points, most were off turnovers. But more than likely, he'll get another HC gig. He has a fairly solid resume.

Cant remember a single time a head coach was fired/demoted to coordinator and stayed with the same team. Just to awkward for the players and fans to do it.

Yeah, that's not happening.

I actually agree with the take that there's a good chance Rivera gets another head coaching job quickly if he's fired here, maybe even in Tampa like the rumors have suggested.

The difference is I don't see that as a good argument in favor of keeping him.

Here is how I see it---some of you are calling the OP a liar for posting stuff without really knowing if it is true or not---but since you do not know for sure what he knows or heard, are you not doing the same thing?  Come, join me on "La rue d' grand" (That means the High Road).  It is so relaxing looking down into the traffic of pettiness below driving in my touring sedan on cruise control....

You guys still taking this guy seriously? He makes up bullshit that fits his narrative, his view, of the Panthers, and passes it off him having some inside source. He's used his "source" as a way to smear staff and players he doesn't like, and then makes vague, or obvious statements inbetween to make it seem plausible that he's actually connected.

This poo happens every year.

It drives me nuts. If u don’t believe the OP, than ignore the thread...if u aren’t sure what to believe, than help make this discussion good by sharing your opinions on how it’d excite or piss u off if we fired Rivera and went for a big name college coach...it’s literally that simple

I have heard Harbaugh referenced in the same manner as Nick Saban in that they're successful in college because anybody having to deal with them for more than 3 - 5 years will swing on him. Hence why they are in the college ranks.

Idk myself, just what I have heard
