Sorry I didn’t know you were a better judge of talent than the head coach of the team, who has also ran multiple number one defenses in the league, who just held the saints to one of the lowest point totals all year, and writers for the Charlotte observer who covers the team for a living. Like it or not Reid is a good safety and should be resigned. I’m sure you disagree because he takes a knee right?

You are the only one distracted by Reid....no one on the team is. I believe coach Washington was the biggest distraction on the team this year. Also, I didn’t know that he didn’t show up and do the job this entire season while learning the playbook on the fly, starting a week after signing, playing while getting back into shape, and drawing the praise of teammates and coaches alike for his play. Ron even stated he wants Reid back next year and that he has been playing great. Poo on you. Buuuuuuuttt ttthhheeee kkknneeeeee!!!!!! 

 

People kill me with the Reid diss. After watching Adams all year, Gaulden not being able to start, COLIN JONES, and Searcy.....you have an issue with Reid. GTF OUTTA HERE

Lol the writing is on the wall and people out here with their eyes covered.  This crap is national news, you don't think the players and locker room are engrossed in it as well?

So he hasn’t been the best safety on the team this year? You think he has been a locker room cancer /distraction but can you show me ANY evidence of this? I can show you examples from players and coaches who support him and his play on the field

The only reason why I would not sign Eric Reid is for the liability in the passing game. Get a great FS then I say sign that MF up.

For my reason, the game Reid did not listen to D Jax on a coverage play that resulted in a touchdown. My brain is fried on the team but it was inside the 20. The play looked like DJax was late but it was Reid's fault. If Reid wants to be here, he must get better in communication which helps with positioning himself for big plays.

Reid can lay the wood like a MF. Even moreso than Mitchell imo. I hope we resign in on a decent long term contract.

This is  hilarious....what’s been in the news that has been a distraction... taking a knee or the league obviously going after Reid. Do you think the players care about that?? Cams shoulder being shot, having the worst play calls ever for the talent we have on D, coaches being fired from the team, Ron possibly getting fired and missing the playoffs after starting 6-2.......buuuuuuuuuut it’s because Reid was a distraction.  You are reaching HARD. Again do you have any proof that it was a distraction? Also if a grown ass man getting paid millions of dollars, works on their craft all year, studies opponents, etc gets distracted by Reid and it effects the team....they shouldn’t be on an NFL roster. Try again.

Is there any evidence at all that Reid is a distraction and a cancer or the various other things I've seen him called on this site?  Has a coach or player or anybody in the FO said anything, even anonymously to somebody in the media?  Because if there is I haven't seen it.  The only people I've seen screaming at him to shut up and that he should be gone are people who are buttsad about a position he assumes during the performance of a particular series of musical notes.
