Taylor Heinicke Presser (Full)

He said that he has been getting practice reps with the 1s "since about week 8 or 9."  That is when this turned---they knew Cam's shoulder was suspect/injured, but they kept playing him--loss after loss after loss.

So RR, the medical staff, and maybe Norv played an injured player because "he gave them the best chance to win."  His interceptions went up.  He stayed in.

Should there be blame?  If so, why not Hurney?   If Derek Anderson were still here, would we have ridden Cam into the dirt, or would we have gone to our backup?  Lotta things for Tepper to consider.  if it were me, with the aging vets etc., I clean house and build around the new core---CMC, Moore, Samuel, Jackson, Luke, Moton, and maybe Thomas.

Lol calm down. Or have another drink. Your preference. :) I said he had football IQ to win. I didn't say it was high. Besides, it's not the pass; it's the whole play. I'm happy to see a QB who isn't injured and who can get the ball down the field. Don't even try to take it in a "different" direction.

At this point of the season, I'll take even small positive nuggets.

Yep and let’s also not forget that other pass with 3 seconds left to go in the half that was a bomb downfield and got us in easy FG range (forgot which game) had we had a HC that knew just a minimal amount of clock management, we would have scored a FG there also

What the poo. People are saying he's Luke and Olsens son? He looks like a pizza delivery boy, no where close to those two men. Also, how the hell are people seriously saying they know he has high football IQ off of a single pass? God damn some people are happy to see a "different" quarterback.

The excitement is palpable

Ravens game was Week 7, and Heinicke said this in the post game.

"Obviously, Cam, not practicing all week, shoulder a little sore – he didn’t feel like he could get it there."

So "about week 8 or 9" had to be at least week 7. I don't fault the guy for not remembering the exact week it happened, but I'm pointing out it was even earlier that Ron, and Marty KNEW something wasn't right and yet Ron "We'll continue to stay the course" Rivera continued playing him.
