From Tepper’s POV

Consider it an understatement to say Dave will be/is already a very busy man. Besides building a new practice facility he has to turn the Panthers into his vision, and it’s debatable how many in the front office/coaching staff will be retained.

Its clear that he will put an emphasis on analytics, something that I doubt either Ron or Marty have much experience with. So either we have an organization learning about analytics or Dave does a massive house cleaning and gets experienced people in the building.

Any way you look at it, the 2019 Panthers will be vastly different, both on and off the field.

i've said this before but for fans of the hornets and the panthers the parallels between ron rivera and steve clifford are there. as the nba transitioned to a perimeter oriented game clifford was happy to coach like it's still the 90s. they're both coaches who are happier to lose their way than to do what it takes to win today.

Yep, and Clifford was fired and a younger, more aggressive coach was hired and they are now in playoff contention hovering around the 5th and 6th seed.

"... and after 5 disappointing seasons and frequent battles with a resolute Charlotte mayor over a new stadium, Tepper moved the Panthers to Las Vegas"

Why do you think the practice facility is going to be in SC.  Tepper will use that to leverage Charlotte and NC for a deal.  If not moving to SC.

Going off that comparison, analytics didn't work so well with the Hornets while Rich Cho was the GM. They are now in NBA purgatory.
