He is going to be worth at least 1500 total yards and 10 TDs every season going forward. Absolutely.

Not if they play him 97% of the snaps... CMC will get an injury sooner than later because he doesn't get a break. Bad bad coaching IMO

What we are witnessing come to fruition in terms of his versatility in our offense is exactly the reason so many fans here, myself included, wanted the Panthers to draft him. It took some growing pains in his rookie year, but clearly he was worth the pick, and he still has room for growth.

People like HornetsSting aren't fooling anyone when they try so hard to pit two of our best players against each other. Just let them play.

Put it this way, we got two of the best players in the draft at #8.  The best WR and arguably the best RB in that draft.  And they are on the field at the same time wrapped up in one package.

Yes, that is worth #8.

Someone people can't see the forest for the trees.

gets tricky.

Is Bell great?  Is Hunt great? I'd say so.

Does a lot change when they aren't there? Not really.  If you have a good overall offense.  RB is a more easily replaceable position with the drop off not being that crazy.

CMC is great.   The better a team is around him, the more easily he could be replaced and the drop off not be that noticeable.

I think CMC was as much better pick than Butler or Shaq or recent picks before him.   We drafted CMC with the intent of him being a fixture.  We had been drafting other players to be backups.   I mean he is a better football player than those guys but he was drafted with the intent of making him a big part of what we do and are.

Shaq likely could be a much better LB today if TD never existed.  TD limited his growth.

The offensive line plays 100% as well. I think touches matter more. His touches have been reasonable. I hope he avoids injuries because our offense without him would have been complete trash, even last year.

The offensive line doesn't run down the field, take blows from a saftey with a head start, assigned to be a decoy, run between the tackles and catch. Touches in the sense he has the football matter, but a RB is never untouched if he's on the field.
