Cam has to seek help outside the panthers medical staff

The team has orthopedic surgeons they use for consultation including Andrews. Of course you wouldn't use team doctors without getting a second or even a third opinion and finding out who is the best in the world. The Panthers and Cam would both have a 100 million dollar incentive to make sure that any decision they make would be successful. Your post insinuated that the team doctors were a bunch of quacks or shouldn't be trusted. Do you really think the Panthers would object to Cam getting outside opinions? It just follows your negative dialogue about anyone on the Panthers caring about poor old Cam.

My post clearly stated the opposite. Your pick any opposing viewpoint then argue just for the sake of arguing while being a condescending asshole shtick has gotten old. It was old years ago.

If by opposing viewpoint you mean the constant negative dialogue about the team, coaches and staff that you constantly spout with virtually no evidence to support it, then yeah I do take the opposite viiew. Not at all to be argumentative or condescending but rather because I don't agree with that assessment, have as much or more evidence to counter your opinion and get tired of all the bullying  ganging up style of posting you and others employ to anyone who disagrees. Anyone who counters the huddle myths you and others creates gets painted as an asshole, troll or idiot. And I guess the no personal attacks doesn't apply to everyone.

LOL! Poor 55, playing up the victim mentality. Sorry man, you've acted like an asshole constantly on this forum for years. Reap what you sow. You've just been slipping recently. It must be the senility sinking in.

Been thinking a lot about this recently and I honestly wonder if Vermillion is any good at his job at all...

Jake's career essentially ended after their selected management and treatment of his elbow injury.

TD had 2 failed ACL reconstructions.

The mismanagement of Olsen's foot injury over the last two seasons.

The mismanagement of Daryl Williams' injury earlier this season.

The mismanagement of Cam's shoulder.

If I was a player, I would go for second and third opinions before I ever consulted the Panthers' training staff.  The track record isn't great.

A lot of team's seem to have awful training staffs and I don't get it. Been a few years, but when Shaq went to Phoenix to play for the Suns (and a few other players), the training staff was rumored to be a reason because they were so amazing.

If I were an owner, I'd throw top dollar at whatever doctors I possibly could to protect what are essentially my investments.

Once again when did it get okay for someone to attack someone without provocation. The Trump effect appears to be impacting the huddle. I thought this was a football forun to discuss the Panthers. I don't call you an asshole or other derogatory comment.  I deserve the same respect I afford you on an adult forum. That is so middle school.and if the truth sounds condescending, I apologize.

I'm not sure that they're awful as much as it is that sports medicine (and honestly medicine in general) is a very inexact science in a lot of ways. No body and no injury is the exact same. There's always more variables in play than can be completely accounted for. They're also under pressure to keep these guys available to play and I'm sure there's no shortage of times where guys are playing when the medical team would rather they not be. Keep enough guys off the field and the team is going to find new medical staff.

But, as Proudiddy alluded to, we have quite a history of some situations that weren't handled very well in hindsight.

Without question to the top part I shortened.  The system in general prohibits actual recovery.  Here, take some pain killers, get this shot so you won't feel yourself making the injury worse, etc.

This new victim mentality 55 is quite comical. First, you couldn't accurately read my post as was clearly indicated by your reply quoting the post that you misinterpreted. Now you're trying to turn the conversation political for some reason.

But for real, are you okay? The condescending part is very much like you, but this woe as me victim mentality stuff certainly isn't. If there's something going on, then my bad.

Yep, I'm sure that's very prevalent. Plenty of players have developed addictions to pain killers due to this, Brett Favre being one of the more notable ones. I'm sure the problem is a lot more widespread than is known by the public.

Trust me I am no victim and can fend for myself. I appreciate the concern. Asking for civility and use of normal communication patterns you would use in talking to someone in public versus the internet is not playing the victim but asking for reciprocity.

Stop the victim mentality crap then. You've been a condescending asshole on here for years. This is reciprocity.

If the goal is to insult me so I stoop to your level you will be disappointed. What is sad is the huddle has devolved to this level. That thpe of behavior used to be relegated to the smack forum and now is apparently accepted behavior in the main forum.

The issue isn't whether you think I am all those things. It is whether a public forum condones personal attacks without comment or censure. I have a varied multitude of colorful descriptions of you that I keep to.myself. why? Civility. If that doesn't matter then we agree on nothing and I withdraw.
