The meeting that needs to happen behind closed doors. (maybe already did)

At this point of the season. Tepper, Rivera, Hurney, all the staff. A meeting has to be made. Tepper needs to let Rivera know if he's out or not. So things can progress accordingly.

Cam is hurt, he needs to be rested the remainder of the season. They need to take a look at everyone in the roster, Heinecke for example. Once Rivera knows his fate I think things will transition much smoother. Whether he's gone or if he's got until his contract.

One thing I would like to see is a New GM take over. Evaluate everything and everyone. Then move accordingly.

But for gods sake, just don't let cam further damage himself.

What about Reggie McKenzie or Trent Kirchner?

I'm kind of on the fence about Josh McDaniels.

Not saying that's who I want, but kinda how I see it playing out.

Tepper came from the Steelers.  That's a "no-nonsense" NFL football team if there is one....and I would assume that's the type ORG he want's to build here.  Not only from his Steelers background, but his professional background as well.  Cut throat, results orientated, etc....

The Steelers and the Pats are two of the most cutthroat in the business, while also being two of the most successful, long term in the history of the NFL.

Marty and Ron are player first leaders.  That's what JR liked, but when it goes bad...it goes real bad.  We saw it at the end of the Fox/Hurney era, and I think that we are seeing it again.

The more this drags out, the more I see Josh McDaniels on our sideline next season, and Omar Khan in the FO next season.

Lordy, I hope one of those is not our destiny.  I can handle Omar Khan, and I understand the connection to Tepper so that may be very likely.  But McDaniels destroyed Denver and then did a disappearing act with Indy, so I'd strongly want us to take a pass.  I think he is biding his time for Mumbles to decide he's had enough of wearing hoodies on the Patriots sidelines and pass the reins to him.

Not sure how that describes McDaniels.  Cut throat, perhaps.  Results oriented....well, it seemed like the only results he has been concerned about is proving he is in charge.

The way things went down in Denver looks a lot like a guy who quickly lost his team and the support of his organization.  He really has not proven anything in the way of being results oriented on his own, which begs the question whether his success in NE has been him, Hoodie, or Brady.

Not disagreeing with you, just stating how I think it may very well play out.  Owners and GM's continue to be enamored by the guys standing beside BB.  I'm hoping that Tep doesn't, but I can see him trying to swing as far away from the Ron's of the world as possible on the next one.

My take is Tepper coming from the Hedge Fund world knows there is absolute no such thing as a sure thing. I’m going to guess Tepper is waiting until we are 100% eliminated from the playoffs so he doesn’t fire him now and look stupid Incase a miracle happens and we somehow sneak in.

Mu guess is after the Falcons game if either A. we lose or B. We win but Skins or Vikes also win, eliminating us all together. THATS when we will hear something. Tepper wants to be 100% sure we are eliminated first

I think there's a good chance that McDaniels already has a head coach in waiting deal in place with the Patriots. I can't think of any other logical reasons why he did the Colts that way.

IMO, and unfortunately as it may end up being for us, I doubt the trusted Luck's shoulder.  The docs in Miami didn't trust Drew's shoulder either.

I would assume that if he thought it was 100%, like it's looking right now, he would have gone.
